Hi all!...wondering is there anyone here with knowledge or has been in the following situation??..i have an 1989 w124 300ce "coupe" battery is flat with hood & all doors & boot locked no response from door locks when key is inserted & turned:confused: thanks in advance all ;)

You need to raise the car and get 12 volt on the large wire on the starter motor, the remote will then work

Being of a 1989 vintage, I don't see why sticking the key in the lock and turning it won't allow access..

Not sure if a number plate lamp will allow you to connect a charger to put some charge into the battery ..remove the light and connect to the wires..

He cant get in to turn the lamps on

No, but one may be able to access the wires from the outside.

A bit of lubricant in the lock?

I'm pretty sure that 12v has been applied via the numberplate light wires in order to get a little current into the car worth some success in the past.

I don't see how that would work unless the Lights were still switched on

Please do start spraying some PTFE into the door locks and soon the key should turn.
