Gear Selector illumination, R129 5sp box

More of an irritation than a problem, but the bulb that illuminates the gear selector has stopped working on my 1994 R129 SL320. It doesn't bother me but SWMBO complains on the rare occasions when I let her drive.

I've looked at the Russian site and can see a bulb at 155, but how do I get at it to change it?

A term used by John Mortimer's character Rumpole of the Bailey to refer to his wife and popularised by the TV adaptations of the books with Leo McKern playing the title character and Marion Mathie playing Hilda Rumpole, She Who Must Be Obeyed.

Trying to determine where gear selector bulb is. Is it forward of "P" and does it twist out or is it a unit attached to left side of selector which looks to have a sliding mechanism and wires from end. Looks to me like a twist out non wire bulb?? That said there is not a complete slot in end, even if I could get something there to twist it.
