Gearbox Service E Class Estate 2015 W212

Hello there,

I just bought a used Mercedes E class Estate W212 from 2015 and it has 85k miles. The service overall seems good from the records, but it seems there was never a gearbox service done to it, not even from Mercedes themselves.

I'm not experiencing any issues with the car, but I was wondering if you would recommend a gearbox service or not. I spoke with some mechanics and some say that I should do it, some others say not do it since it's long lasting.

What's your opinion?

Absolutely get it done, should be 5 years / 60k then every 4 years after.

Prob cost £300 with a full flush
