Spacers can only be used to bring them further out. To bring them in closer you will need to machine metal off the mounting surface of the wheel.

They won't fit, too big.

Spacers will push them further out and they will catch particularly on the rear anyway

It will not be possible in the rears, if I’ve read it correctly and we don’t what the 222 wheels were all round- as mentioned better to keep an eye out for 204 wheels to begin then matching ET’s or smaller spacers if necessary (don’t Like spacers personally but lots use them)
