Because I had to replace the glow plugs I found this;

While removing the engine covers I saw 2 broken rubber buffers (A6110940385). They hole the top of the air cleaner. I also saw an hose with some damage since it rubs against the engine.

To remove the engine covers you need a torx T30 screw driver to remove the 6 bolds. Then you can lift the engine covers off.

As the pictures shows you can see the broken rubber buffers. They cost only a couple £ and are easy to replace. Also have a look at the hose (see picture) what (in my case) gets damaged by hitting the hot engine. I rerouted this hose to not hitting the engine any more.

So it affects the 220 too. I had a lot of vibration on the air filter box on my 270 when I got it. They replaced the 'rubber mountings' and it was fine again. I guess it was the same part.

Yes, it might be the same parts. The guy of the Mercedes Benz parts department told me that there are also 2 rubber mountings on the under site of the air cleaner who like to brake too. But the top once goos more often.
