I have the TV function on my command unit and the car has the external ariel.

When I press the TV button it says "No TV" what's required to get it working.

Thanks
Rob

It means that you have not got the tuner fitted to your car, they all have the button.

Yes it is easy to do but they cost £800, any day now I will be doing a conversion if you care to wait a bit, (nothing worth watching anyway) I could save you some pennies

Bear in mind when fitting a tuner that analogue TV is not long for this world, a digital unit is your best bet

My TV works but the reception/picture quality is very poor.

General problem with the units* or local to my town? (which doesn't have a great signal strength anyway)

after having tv in the last 4 of my cars id advise that it is a novelty, does not recieve good pic on move,
does not always recieve good pic,and if you are in built up area its sometimes impossible,
imo fitting a dvd is better, well for me personally, you can play music videos, comedians, films etc and all in crystal clear picture,

if i where you id spend the money on dvd install rather than the tv install,

I agree with that, I'm spending increasing amounts of time sat waiting in the car so put the DVD on and the time just flies by.
