GL tyre wear

Hi all I'm new to the forum am thinking of changing my ML for a two year old GL that has continental tyres size 295/40/21 can anyone advice on what sort of mileage I should expect to get out of a set of tyres

Welcome. Many variables in tyre wear, but given the similarity in the vehicles I’d expect a similar life from your ML really.

Welcome. Many variables in tyre wear, but given the similarity in the vehicles I’d expect a similar life from your ML really.
Thanks John was a bit concerned it would knock them out in 8000 to 10000 like my mates Q7 did

Thanks John was a bit concerned it would knock them out in 8000 to 10000 like my mates Q7 did

Q7 are reknowned for eating tyres, particularly the 21"

Thank you. That is more in line with my thinking and lowest quote I have been given is £270 & £280 for continentals and Pirelli

Mine had the 20 inch rims rather than 21, so had 275/50s. I used to fit Continental UHP which were MO, and normally got about 25k a set, maybe a bit over.
