When my daytime driving lights are on and as the indicator flashes the light on that side dimmed.

Now in the "old days" I'd suspect an earth problem but I kind feel this is intentional by design?

If I switch the side lights or headlights on they aren't affected by the indicators. It just affects the daytime driving lights.

Is it supposed to do that?

Thanks y'all

Extra extra yes. It's so other drivers can actually see the indicator.

if you look, there are loads of cars on the road where the DRL dims as the indicator on that side indicates

I like that feature :) It really annoys me when cars have indicators built in to the DRL/headlights as it makes them harder to see.

On the GLC, the white daytime driving light turns orange and flashes when I indicate!
