Hi,

I wonder if you can help me I have bought a motorhome that has a 1998 Sprinter 310 chassis . The conversion is a Carthago, hand built in Germany. We collected it from Dortmund in Germany, it has a full history, but unfortunately its all in German!

Now I have managed to translate a few things from the hand book and service manual using some translation software, but there are some switches that are not in the manual at all!

So I have 2 requests, first of all does anyone have or know where I can get a handbook for a 312D in English?

And secondly I have 2 switches that have something to do with an extra heater of some sort, they have wavy vertical lines, one marked with a plus and one with a minus sign.. Any idea what they are and how I should use them?

Also the vehicle has a limited slip diff switch (as best I can make out) are there any limitations as to when this can and should be used?

Thanks,

Colin,

switches etc

Thanks Maddog I'll look them up...

Re the switches they doo appear to be connected tp somesort of heater box under the lefthand side wheel, I wondered whether they could be some sort of cab heater?? the one switch has a minus sign and the other a plus so I dont want to cause any damage by putting them both on at the same time!!

Cocky..

they look to me like auxilary heater units....one possibly to send power to rear heater or air con unit. so you can switch them off while driving or on while driving if you see what i mean.
