GLE exhaust box colour fade

Hi guys, new to the forum.

I’ve recently purchased a GLE and have noticed some colour fading (black colour coming off) on what I think is the exhaust box (see attached pics). The car is less than 3 years old so I’m a bit surprised by this. Has anyone experienced this before and is this something that should be dealt with under warranty?

It’s just the paint finish burnt/chipped off. Doubt it’s covered by warranty.

Thanks. It’s noticeable from the back so a bit annoying.

I’ve actually got the car booked in with you tomorrow for a health check

If it bothers you buy a can of black VHT paint and paint it.
