Good independent garage recommendation?

Hi all, my 99 c250 td is doing something similar to a post further down, intermittently, losing power accelerating. I can't see any splits in pipes, so want to find a good indie to run star on it. I am near Stirling/Perth, or at a push Edinburgh/Glasgow, if anyone has any suggestions, be appreciated!

The only one I know that way is Merparts in Port Glasgow.

They did a bit of work on a car I used to own (before I owned it) and the attention to detail was impressive. If too far out for you they may be able to suggest someone a bit nearer to you.

I'm about thirty five miles away from Merparts (Port Glasgow), I've never used them personally, but, I've only heard good things about them in the trade, they deal with our Greenock branch occasionally.
I'll ask one of my colleagues for an update and get back to you asap.

Luckily I got a hold of my mate quite quickly and, he recommends Merparts whole heartedly, he also suggested Owen Ferry in McDowall Street in Paisley as an acceptable alternative, although his own preference was for Merparts as he knows the guys there better.

Owen is good for German, VAG, Mercedes, and BMW plus he tends to specialise in Volvo and SAAB too.
