I thought I would like to share a GOOD Main Dealer experience with you. As you may or may not know, we are currently preparing to move down to Spain. In preparation for the long drive down, I booked my car into Mercedes-Benz (Whitefield) - Manchester - for a 'B' service and a complete health-check. Assyst showed 5200 miles before the next service - but I am a cautious type and wanted to ensure that the car was OK.!!
The car was duly collected from my home. A short while later, Stuart from the dealership, called me to say that I would be wasting my money having a B service done and to have an 'A' service instead - PLUS a thorough 'health-check'. (By the way, my previous concern about diesel fumes - see separate thread - was addressed at the same time).
During the day, Stuart called me a couple of times to explain the progress being made (diesel fumes, aircon etc). Around 5pm, a final call was made and a FULL explanation of the work done was given. In addition, with various discounts applied, I saved some 30% on the final invoice.
