Passed MOT yesterday.
Certainly some trials and tribulations along the way this last six months, and not really in the areas I was expecting. Still a big thanks to those that have helped with advice along the way and putting up with stupid moans and questions.

Not completely out of the woods yet. Still one or two little jobs to finish, (got the ac working properly today (just about warm enough to test it), and some paint to tidy up / redo, and of course the dvla / vosa insurance to sort out.
But all in all, very pleased.

Hard to believe but this is the stripped wreck I started with. Everything not in the picture, including a lot of what is, went in the bin.

In a heart beat. But I'll really know when I start driving it to the day job.

This may seem strange, but I really wanted more 'work' to do than just replace a lot of parts.
But it is actually a joy to work on.
Body work repair was minimal with just a sill end plate and a bit of strengthening of the lower inner arch.
The rest was just parts as I could afford them.

Inchcape MB for most.
1 or 2 from Dronsfield & Prestige (still expensive) like bumper / cross member and sam.
Some off ebay. (dealers unload surplus stock) best was MB north wales.
And private sellers, like leathers etc.
