I am looking at a 1984 505 diesel not many of them over here are these engines any good or do they have problems?

Abysmal spelling, but I believe a good choice of circa 1980 diesel engine!

used to have a 504 saloon could not kill it, in fact scrapped it (body rotten) sold it to a guy who used it for Grass Track Racing he could not kill the engine either, great cars!

Had the 504 as well , lovely solid car, plagued by electrical problems, as most Peugeots of that era were......loved the 604 too.....
