My name's Jack, I'll be 30 in December from Nuneaton.

Only passed my driving test last Thursday and felt rather reckless so I bought myself a Merc.

I'm not a novice with car's. I've been running the family business for the last 6 years which is a local taxi firm... Perhaps that makes it even more embarrassing that I couldn't be bothered to learn to drive?

Anywho, bought myself an E200 CGi Coupe (62 plate) with a few toys which I will collect from Milton Keynes on Saturday.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you manage to obtain insurance for considering the lack of NCB?

No problem, I paid £1037 through Admiral.

That gives me the usual to dos... Third party on other cars, breakdown, windshield and keycover etc.

Of the telematics insurers, I believe Bell were quoting about £890 I think. I didn't want telematics.
