Hi,

Did you eventually solve your problem?
My misfire problem on a CLK320 was primarily additive to fuel coupled with 1 faulty and 1 incorrect ignition lead.

also gutless and missing

i have a clk w208 that is on gas and petrol, the car runs on petrol and then when it gets to temp it changes to gas. but when mine runs on petrol its the same apart from mine is ok upto 2k and then runs like a bag a nail if i try to put my foot down the revs drop off and stars missing also. i have changed plugs and airfilter and just the same, can any one help it is 1998 i used to have a 2000 model manual and that was superb

ive put some stp in the petrol made no differance and when i take the two plugs out which havnt got the coil packs on top they are sutted up

Maybe a final output inside of the ECU that outputs to feed the coil packs has failed?
