Totally agree almost as bad as setting a C/H programmer, mind you I do like the service menu on the BM includes everything changed and when plugs, filters the lot
I was in a similar situation and decided on a pre emptive strike so got out the handbook and started reading.. Eventually gave up as i think i got a little bored with all the reading and slightly annoyed something so simple was turning into a drama..
Next morning i decided to have another go and couldnt believe what i saw, the clock had changed itself ?????
Ahh, gps...
I love my Coupé, I got in, I put the key in the ignition, I turned it to the accessory position and the digital clock changed immediately, the analogue clock hands began sweeping round to the correct time and stopped.
Brilliant, totally automatic!
I Love it!!!!
When I tried to reset the clock in my works van (a Renault) there ensued 20 minutes of *ucking around trying to get it right,
I eventually got so *issed off, I left it one minute out, as I just couldn't get it right, no matter how much I tried and how offended the OCD in me was.
I changed the clock using the steering wheel menus about a week ago. Then I noticed that my lovely new Alpine Head Unit also shows the time and it hadn't updated to BST. I got around to changing it yesterday, manual in one hand and puzzled expression on face. I was born too soon but with the gift of patience. Now both clocks are correct. I'm still surprised that this modern piece of kit, DAB radio & all, didn't magically change by itself. Phones & computers do. Happy anyway. All is well.
