Yes its indeed an interesting website, I stumbled across it when I had a few complaints (although for the UK). Its a shame there is no equivalent UK site, it would clearly name and shame and put pressure on om those named to improve themselves. Isnt the internet amazing for finding information

It must be US regulation as it's on MB's own site and i can't see them volunteering this info!

In my view it's already having an effect. MB admit they have serious issues and if you believe the press releases, have spent, and continue to spend, billions sorting it. The proof is there to see, most of us with 04- cars are increasingly happy. I just wonder whether a UK company would put their hands up and whether the cretins in the UK stock exchange (I don't like stock brokers, can you tell!) would allow them to divert money otherwise destined for fat cat bonusses to be ploughed back into R&D like MB have!

The site belongs to an american X MB owner that has had many a fight with MB. He actively seeks disgruntled owners to hit MB where it hurts -publicity. From what I have been told it has nothing to do with MBUSA

Tis why I suggested an Active Database of Dealers and Indies, same reason. I dont think any of us minds paying for these cars or repairs, so long as a good product is obtained or a good job is done.

I recommend everybody to go over and read this site.... the mind boggles. I wonder what percentage of Merc owners is represented by these posts. Lookup your own car model and see just what has happend.
