Haynes or other manual for W202 x reg

Hi All, Could anyone kindly tell me why there appear to be no manuals, Haynes or otherwise for the last models of C class , september 1999 onwards? I own an x reg and search as I can I have yet to find one for my model.:?:

Presumably Haynes considers that their manual for the W202 covers the later production run of the model adequately, and that it would not be economically viable to produce another edition of that manual for the few variances that would be necessary.

I have a 2001 W203 Y reg (not a W202). I thought that Haynes had produced a manual for the W202 but not the W203. When i checked with Haynes they told me that they had no plans to produce a manual for the W203 in the near future. The only way i could get the info i required for my car was to purchase the DVD,s off ebay but found this was not the best way to go for various reasons.

Are you sure you have a w202? as x reg is normally a w203.
Easy way to tell, have you circular type headlights or rectangular?
If rectangular it is a w202.
There is a Haynes manual for the w202 but only the 4 cylinder motors, If you would like the Haynes manual number let me know and I,ll post it when I get home from work.

You see both W202 and W203 on X reg. The Haynes manual 3511 covers W202s and on the cover it states from L to W reg but any differences with an X reg will be minimal, if any. I believe the book was published in 2000 before the X reg plates had begun to be issued. My car is a 6 cylinder but the manual is useful even though it covers only the 4 and 5 cylinder engines.
