Has anyone any advice on adjusting headlamps for driving abroad? My car is a C220 cdi estate. With other cars I have just used black electrical tape to 'kill' the dip the to the left.

Thanks all. Then I guess it is the beam benders or back to the tape!

Jez - I have orderd the beam benders you suggested from ebay. I note that these appear larger than the normal Eurolite ones. Not sure yet if they require cutting or whether as they allow light to pass through that they just need positioning uncut but over the left dip area. As my car has twin lights in he headlamp cluster I assume that it is the outer light on the nearside and the inner one of the offside to mask the dip.

Unlike most 'beam benders' on the market, these work off a prism structure - therefore no light output loss. They fit onto both your dipped headlights ONLY.

I used them (upside down) on my crystal xenon headlamps for the UK (I had them fitted before I came to Spain) and were absolutely fine.

Instructions for fitting are with the kit.

Safe driving......

On the W204, are the inner or outer pair of lights the ones that dip and need the beam converters on them?
