Headlamp Spring Clip

I need to get hold of 2 headlamp bulb spring clips for a Mercedes A140 52 Reg...as mine have dont have them in which I only found out when it failed its MOT beacuse of its dodgey beam.

I phoned the local MB delaership and they said I cant get the springs on their own and I would have to buy the who headlight unit costing £110 + VAT on each light.....and you can gues I nealr fell off my chair when they said that.

Does anyone know how else I could secure the bulbs in the unit or anywhere which may have these clips in stock.

Can only think of a breakers, but then they could,nt sell the headlamp as a unit, thats a tough one!!

Unless SAM he finds one with smashed light from a head on, also lots of these lights were made by Valeo and other makes would have the same spring
