Headlight problem please help 2013 E220 coupe

My n/s headlight stopped working, got the message on dash also message saying adaptive main beam assist inoperative. So put the car into mercedes £515 later sorted new headlight control unit was fitted put wouldn't program so they put the new one on the o/s , 2 weeks later the o/s flickering when the lights goes on for a couple of seconds then doesn't work , I've got the car booked in again next week but was hoping someone can suggest something to try myself

Ayrshire, it was a independent mercedes specialist I used
