Hi Guys, I have a problem with my car's driver's side headlights. I drove the car to the garage this morning for a different issue but as i picked up the car , the right deem headlights and parking lights weren't working. I also have an intermitted issue with the rear tail light were sometimes the work and other times they don't of flicker and require tap to work. Any ideas what may be the issue with headlights, as i cant drive the car in the evenings now! :(

a tap tells you there is a loose connection.
whip it out check all contacts, no rust etc etc check if the ground is secure.

it clearly works

Weclome to the forum. stick around

Thanks, that's for the tail light which is now working but fainted. However the front light parking lamp and right dipped beam aren't working. I guess its a case of getting the bulbs replaced as i can see there are bulbs in there. I though i had to by the whole headlight unit. I hope not.

What work did they do in the garage, sounds like they upset something?

They were looking at a parking break issue which has not been fixed yet, but you are right they have upset something. Or could it be a fuse? I might take it back to them to sort as it was ok before

So i found out that the fuse on the right hand side of the steering keeps blowing. I have changed about 5 and they all keep blowing. The one for the left hand side if fine and lights work on that side

If a fuse keeps blowing then there is a short on the circuit - the fuse is their to protect the wiring and stop the car going up in flames

I'd have them take a look as a wire could well be trapped
