heater blower fan

my c190 heater fan int quite right, if i put the setting on 1 or 2 the blower blows and then all of a sudden it has a mind of its on it starts making noises as if someone in blowing through it ( not the same noise as when the blower is on ) any ideas why its doing this

Sounds to me like you have some leaves or debris in the air intake, if not that you must check the pnuematiic flaps, etc
I had some leaves a few weeks back, makes hollow roaring like sounds
see how it goes
