Heater Blower Problem

Another problem with my W220,:mad:

When I turn the heater blower on you can hear the air blowing but only a tiny amount of air is coming out of the vents as though there is a pipe not joined up, you can hear the noise of the air blowing it seems to be coming from the passenger side footwell around the area.

Does anyone know how I can fix this??

Thank you

Is the fan motor speeding up as it should or is it stuck on the slow speed only

Its speeding up, it seems to be working fine but hardly no air is coming from the vents as though a pipe has come of or maybe a filter is blocked.

Thanks for this, do you know where 280 and 290 are located, do you have a diagram where I can find them or how to replace them, I really dont want to take it to a garage it's cost me alot already.

Drop the passenger side underdash tray and you will see 2 sliding clips covering a panel. Slide those forward pull out the panel and they are up inside that housing.

I think that I am right in saying that 290 the active charcoal filters if fitted are in the car under the dash passenger side, and 280 dust filter you get to from the air intake under the bonnet..

If you get stuck I will try and print off the instructions

Are the charcoal filters not the same as the pollen filters?
