Hi All.
Having recently complained that my heater fan has died (ran very slowly or not at all, totally dead for past month), this morning at start of my 35 mile commute it came on, albeit very very slowly! There was a slight rumble (probably would have gone away if running at normal speed), and after turning radio on, a distinct interference "click" was heard at same speed as the fan! I quickly ran a series of tests to see if my heated rear window hadn't turned into an MP3 player as well, but no luck. Does this indicate heater motor may in fact be ok, but poorly earthed?? Where would I check (I know naaathing 'bout electrics - I still rub the dead batteries in remote controls expecting it to spring to life and am disappointed when nothing changes...).
Thanks in advance.
Rich
