Heater on W210 300TD

Hi can you help...my heater on the drivers side has just started to blow out hot air only. Wot a pain. While the passenger side works as normal. Has anybody any ideas?

Try the "duovalve" its located infront of the brake servo. This beastie seems to pulse on and off to reduce the waterflow into the split heater matrix. You cloud try putting a test lamp across the wires and see if it pulses when the temp wheel is set at arround ambient, on when you demand heat off when you dont want heat.
It may be the adjuster wheel in the console thats gone wonky.

There is a really good post by Parrot of Doom on stripping the duo valve down. Pls have a search.

It should be the valve as stated. if it is too corroded and you cant dismantle the are half of the UK price or more in the states.

Thank you all again, after ive finished painting the mother-in-laws house, if its ever done right, ill get to fixing my motor. Thanks again.
