Hi there

I wonder if anyone can shine a bit of light on a problem that ive got at the moment ?. I have a 97 plate mercedes C250TD estate. I took my car into the garage for the front anti roll bar bushes to be replaced and when i got in the vehicle to drive home the car would not start. I tried 3 times and each time nothing. The engine did not turn and there was no noise from the starter motor. It was as if the battery wasn't connected (although all the lights on the dash were on and everything on the car was working as normal except for the heater). I messed about with the key and on the 4th attempt the engine started no problem and has been ok ever since. I also noticed that for some bizarre reason the heater blower has stopped working too. It was absolutely fine the morning that i took the car to the garage. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be ?. Or is it just a coincidence that it has happened straight after the roll bar bushes were replaced ????? Many thanks in advance......
