Hi there!
I'm Ralph from Germany and I drive a 2009 C250 CDI Prime Edition manual since april.
It has 35000 km on the clock now and looks brand new. I'm very happy I've found it. It has everything I'm looking for in a car, power, comfort and economy.
In Germany it seems tuning a merc is a no go, so I'm very happy you think about that different here.
My english is a bit rusty and so I hope you can understand me.

Willkommen im Forum, Ralph! :)

Sorry to hear tuning a Merc is a no-go in Germany. It is almost de rigueur in the UK! ;)

Hi Ralph nice to have a German on the forum, enjoy your car. I have had mercs since 1985 when they built the best cars in the world in my mind, not so sure at the moment though. Hope this helps

welcome to another owner of a manual mercedes! im on manual number 3 now, out of 4 mercedes ive owned, and ive had no problems at all (transmission wise) with ANY of them

I will admit though I wouldnt mind making it look a bit more sporty though, AMG kit, wheels etc, and maybe even Brabus ECU chip upgrade, if its available for my car. but other than that, im quite happy with it!

Stay as you are Pete, it would not be good for you to get a split personality ;)

its the CAR that needs a split personality, not me! it leads a double life. 1 of sedate comfortable family transport, then another as a GTI competitor, when im able to get out for a (rare) decent drive on my own!
