- ML500 W163 2003 Black LPG
Hi Everyone,
Just a quickie to say "Hello" to my fellow MB'ers
I'm currently on my second Mercedes, a ML500 2003 W163 Black with LPG conversion. As with my previous car (my beloved SLK230 sitting on the drive for next spring) I seem to have a lot to learn about the inner workings of this MB. The SLK seemed to suffer a lot with electrical issues, but a good can of contact cleaner invariably sorted them out. Door strap snapping and door glass metal supports breaking. MPG was a problem too until a good bottle or two of REDEX went through the tank, and I went for SUPER Unleaded . Raised MPG from 13+ to 28+.
Currently, the ML seems to be a bit sluggish and I know its a tank of a car, but with a 5litre lump attached she should be better (I think).
If anyone is local to Rugby and has any knowledge of specialist dealers or fancies meeting up for a cuppa, or if there's a club locally, let me know...
Happy Driving!!
Chris
