Check the Pistonheads website, classifieds section (Mercedes, AMG bit) - saw a couple of decent C36's on there for sale recently though they wanted top dollar for them. All kind of depends on whether you're looking for a top example or a slightly rougher one you can bring up to spec.

Since they're early W202 models you should be ok for rust but keep an eye out - check the sills, arches and pull back the rubber on the top of the door frames. The engine is a nice smooth 6 cylinder - check for regular servicing and that it doesn't smoke etc. Usually they're pretty bomb proof though. Anything without good history and servicing records then walk away - doesn't have to be all main dealer (most likely won't be for that age of car in fact) but good regular services are a must. Brakes can be expensive so make sure they aren't so worn that they'll need replacing too soon - if so then you can use that as a bargaining point. Good luck :)

Cheers,
Mark
