Hello! Owner of 1996 SL600

Hello everyone,
Excited to be here and learn.

Currently own a 1996 SL600 that has been parked for too long and now needs some care to get back up and running.
Currently facing issues with some vacuum leaks and electric issues.
I have recently completed a complete change of the 722.6 transmission valve body and solenoids (AMG blue tops), but I am getting very harsh shifts. Chasing after this and the vacuum leaks following that would be the electric issues (AC and radio).

Blue tops need programming to not have harsh shifts.

They were only used by mb in 2003 ISH onwards so far away from your 1st gen 722.6.

Was the valve block replaced for hard shifts?
