Ian Frog here been a lurker for a number of years and have just posted query in engine section.
Currently own my second E350 estate 2010 year and approx. 130,000miles and still a lovely car but glow plug issues just started.

Welcome, you did well with 130K miles the ones in my CLK went at 70K miles.
Quite a few on here have changed their glow plugs, otherwise a job for an independent MB garage?

Lol The at last comment is a fair criticism !
My old 20005 E350 got killed by a forklift at work 3 years ago at about 100 miles shy of 200,000 which was a real shame.
The first one and this one have both been utterly reliable and I have enjoyed them immensely.
I would love to do the plugs myself but don't currently have access to my garage for personal reasons soan independent will be getting the gig.
