Picked it up this week. So far so good, new cars always take some adjusting to.

Love the audio, seats, comfort and the engine is brilliant.

Would like adaptive cruise control (seems standard on some makes across the range these days) and touch screen for the infotainment.

But got 50+mpg on way back from dealer, all sedate and sensible, but will properly shift when the ‘need’ arises.

Never had a proper auto box before. Golf was DSG so didn’t creep. I have to remember to press the brake when I want to be still.

And it’s a monster to park.

But that engine ...
