Hello all. I've been registered here for a while but most of my cars blow up or die before I get a chance to do much of interest. I retired from BMW 10 years ago and bought two Mercs. SLK R170 - good car. A diesel W202 Wagon - rusted. W203 646 Diesel - blew up at 92k. BMW E93 blew up at 85k. Now fighting a mint CLK A209 - no crank etc and I must be at CANBUS NVQ Level 3. I answer to the name "Lucky"

What caused your cars to blow up??
I've only seen cars blown up in terrorists attacks on the news.
I've seen engines explode on drag cars going down the drag strip

I make the mistake of only buying cars with good service history and driving carefully. I expect it's bad Karma from advising all those fleet managers to buy BMWs in my working years :-} .
