I can look into things for you. Supply you with part number, but then you're on your own so to speak.

pass, I have no idea.

Working on the comercial section i only deal with the trucks i.e Axor, Actross etc & vans i.e Sprinter & Vito.

I can look into it for you, but would need a chassis number to have a look on , that way i can compare the engine easier.

I was looking to fit some glass into side doors of my vito van for added visability. This is how and why I stumbled upon this site. I would just like to thank jon for giving me some help in purchaseing the glass. Top advice and the part numbers I needed to get the job done. I was TOO close to getting ripped off from my local dealer. But I was soon put in the right directon.

So a big thumbs up from me jon.

All the best

Welcome

Welcome JonA,

Bet you'll find a lot of the 'archives' interesting. If you are unsuccessful in 'search' for: 'main dealers' you might try: 'main stealers'.

PS: The Vito is a nice drive for a van.

Yeah I agree the vito is quite a nice drive.
The problem I have is I drive a micra most of the time and then when jumping into the vito its like a totaly different world. Gotta love the nice tall veiw though.
I am not really using it as a van, I was thinking of the campervan idea. I do a fair bit of cycling so that was why I bought it. But I found the visability hard to get on with when looking left. This is why I bought the glass. Just waiting for someone to fit it for me now. Should be tuesday.
H+L my local garage quoted me £167 plus vat for 1 peice of glass passengers side. Which I ordered. Then speaking to jon he told me I could of got a piece for £67. per side plus vat.
Turns out H+L quoted me for the most expensive peice with a window (Which I wasn't bothered about.)and never told me about the other bits that was availible.
So after a phone call telling H+L where to go I ordered it from doncaster who couldn't of been more helpfull.
I was thinking of fitting ome seats into the back of the van. Any idea where I would stand about making these seats legal for people to use when I am driving? Would I have to have them tested by someone other than, getting checked over on a mot. And I guess I would have to tell my insurance about having the glass fitted. Do you think I would have to have the van changed form panelvan to dualiner?

All the best guys

Hello
Would you kindly supply the part number for a 2002 638 Vito passenger recognition occupancy sensor as I need it to source this part from a used parts specialist

Kindregards

the g-wagens diesel is a 5 cylinder om 617 which was superceded in the 463 model from late 1990 by a 6 cylinder coded om 606. Not the same as yours.
