Today I got caught on the motorway low on diesel. Anyway I did eventually make it to a petrol station without running out. After filling up, the engine management light has come on and will not go off.
I have read the manual and it says this happens after low fuel and to turn the car off and on again about 3/4 times to clear it. I've tried turning it on and off again around 20 times now in total as well as taking the car for a good run and still nothing.
Any ideas please?? The cars a W203 C220 CDi.
