Hello,
I am organising a charity ball at the Imperial War Museum on Sat 23 Feb in aid of Help for Heroes. I have been badly let down at the last minute as several table reservations have pulled, leaving me in an awkward situation, especially as I have to confirm catering numbers by Friday. The event has the ability to be a huge success (please see auction lots below) but I am now a few tables short. Would the Club or any of the members be interested in taking a table or even attending as individual guests? It's £95 a head and will be a fantastic evening.

Auction lots to include:
• Weekend at Chateau de Warsy in the heart of the Somme for upto 12 people to include all meals and wines.
• ‘Victoria Cross Day’: See and hold original Victoria Crosses, the VC Guns that have made over 800 VCs to date and meet one of the country’s top experts, with board room facilities and lunch in Woolwich
• A personal invitation for 2 couples (4 people) to join a dinner party on board HMS Victory hosted by the Second Sea Lord
• A weekend for 2 stalking, shooting and fishing with personal ghillie and hosted accommodation in Bolton Hall, North Yorkshire
• A weekend sailing for four on a yacht from Weymouth with a qualified skipper
• An intimate group or family tour of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, Knightsbridge
• An Army Chef for Dinner – A highly skilled military Chef to cook for your dinner party at your home
• A meal at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage in rural Devon.
• A blast out to the Needles through the Western Solent for four people in a 140 HP RIB.
• A day tank and military vehicle driving experience for upto 4 people at The East of England Military Museum, Thetford.
• An evening for six adults with the Chief Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London to witness the “Ceremony of the Keys” that takes place at 10pm every night, followed by a night cap in the Yeoman Warders’ Club.
• One day’s exclusive salmon fishing on the River Blackwater, Perthshire for 4 rods to include a light lunch.
• A flight to Cherbourg and back for lunch for four people.
