The Fuse List that should be under the cover of the Fuse box is missing from the wife's 92 300E. If anyone has a copy in emailable form it would truly be appreciated.

I'm trying to trace a problem with the aux cooling fans and need to track down the correct fuse. They all appear to be in good shape but their could be a hairline crack that I don't see.

Also wondering if it is on the same circuit as the ext temp gauge which was flaky until about a week ago when it just quit displaying any temp.

In case anyone is interested this car is up for sale (With regrets) :( cause we can't justify the added expense of the insurance for this one. The car has 155000 miles, needs new tires and has a weak injection pump I believe. (Needs to be cranked for several seconds after sitting for more than overnight)

Anyone looking for clean one this is it. Bought in 97 with 69,000 on the odo and still has many miles left to go. Service records since we bought are available for review and will openly discuss any quirks of this one.

Hope this post doesn't offend the monitor - New to this board and I Will also post on the sales thread (If there is on here.)

According to my 124 'bible'- aux fan's fuse should be no. 7, and the temp gauge no. 6. It may have died of old age though.

There is a relay for the aux fans, which is the 3rd one down (relay 'C') on the left side of the relay boxes.

Many Thanks

:) Thanks for the info - Now to run the car up to temp to prompt the aux fans to kick in (Which is not happening I suspect). :-?

what makes you think the aux isnt working?

This fan very rarely kicks in especially in moderate climates - what makes you think theres a problem?

try bridging the swithc contacts on top of the pressure switch, that normally wakes it up.
