Help!I have a CL55AMG W215,but the chassis number shows WDB215375

One thing it is not, is a AMG!!

Well it has been specced up with the AMG body kit, alloys and tail pipes but the engine remains standard.

The tail pipes Jib should be twin each side,,my car came with the AMG body kit and wheels,and I did have a badge once but I took it off as it should not be there

I have looked on the site to check the VIN.Thanks for that.It has come up as a CL500.
I bought the car as advertised as CL55 AMG.
Its also got the AMG wheels and it has 2 single chrome exhausts tails with AMG on.
It looks like it has the full AMG exhaust system too.
The engine cover looks genuine with the AMG emblem but its in Black.

As above these car were offered with an AMG body kit and wheels,,mine was,,it will be on the VIN check paper if it left the factory with them

Think it's time for a trip back to where you purchased it from & asking for some money back or you'll be taking a trip to the local police station & suein their Asses off for mis representation!!!!

Then you can take it back and get a full refund if you wish

So it's one thing to have the full OEM AMG body kit, but to have changed the V5 is clearly misrepresentation.

As others have said.....it's time to take it back to the dealer and have a full refund.

definately sounds like a ringer if the log book says its an AMG but the car is not an AMG

the CL375 is 4996cc and the AMG373 is 5439 the engine size is also on the order form

Ive got a feeling its not a true cl55.

The best thing to do is go to a main dealer and get them to stick it in there computer system and they would be able to tell you.

They would also be able to tell you from looking at it.

If i remember correctly it would have an amg badge in the seat as well and it would say in the instrument cluster.

Did you by it from a dealer would you be able to post up a couple of pictures of it

Its got the wrong engine in it, i have worked on AMGs for years, i know thats a standard 500 lump by the photos!!
