I own a 1993 C220 & have had the car for 5 or 6 years.
The Car is equipped with Climate control, but I have a slight problem: Although I can get very cold air coming out of all vents, it's coming out too slow to effectively chill the car unless you're on a long Journey! The fan only now seems to opperate on speeds 1 to 3; 4 and 5 run exactly the same as number 3. I'm thinking that perhaps there is a problem with the motor, or could it be the switch itself, or is there a relay that controls the speed: If so where etc............??? (And why does it have to typically happen when the weather gets warmer)

Your thoughts as always greatly appreciate!!

Have you changed the pollen filter in the time you have had the car? If not it may be clogged and restricting the airflow through the system. A how to guide for this was posted on the forum today by Veedweeb, its further down this section.

Thanks for that - I'll certainly have a look, but It seems to be more than that as the fan doesn't increase in speed after position 3 on the switch. The airflow on the 3 lowest settings is just the same as always, position 4 and 5 now mimick setting 3.............
