:roll: I NEED SOME ONE TO TEEL IF ITS BASIC FITTING FRONT WHEEL PADS OR IS THEY ANY TIPS U CAN GIVE ME I NO THEY NEED A CHANGE COS BREAKE LINING WEAR KEEPS FLASH IN ON .PLUS CAN I JUST FITT THEM ON THE FRONT :? HOPE SOME ONE CAN POST DIGRAM OR TELL ME THKS RICHARD HOPEING ITS DRY SAT SO I CAN DO THE JOB

Easy job like on any car but you probably want to change the little break sensors as well.

I believe they come with the pads if you buy genuine pads from the stealership.

could not fix them ny self 2day i jacked up my car took of the wheel and found they or no nuts to undo i took of the plastic caps and found i need which i think is a star shape spanner r some thin like why do they all ways put the work inside so you can not see it 2 well thank rick :?: :?

Im not sure on that model but it must be a torx or an allen key fitting not a star shaped spanner. :wink:

Personally I don?t think you should be trying to change your own brake pads, if you don?t know which way the calliper comes off you also have to push the piston in the calliper back so as you are able to insert the new pads better letting someone change that knows what they are doing.

I agree with Numbnuts - you shouldnt be working on brakes unless you are completely sure of what you are doing - especially since I also live in Stockport and don't what you to be using the back of my car as secondary braking!!! Have you considered using one of the fast fit outlets for pad replacement?

err if you dont know the diffrence between a torx or allen key then you really shouldnt even be taking the wheel off IMO
however they are a 7mm allen key..and should you choose to do them yourself get a decent allen key to use..idealy a good quality one attached to a socket type..if you use a cheap one and round the head off..well surfice to say you might wanna start looking at a bank loan..lol
FWIW my shitheap..sorry mercedes was in at a main dealer having RUST done..as per usual so i asked how much to do the front pads..as it was already there and its getting cold i thought id let them do it this time...well after i manged to catch my breath again, i told them to leave the pads...£165 plus vat..i said no just the front ones not the rear too and he replied that is just the front ..but it does include the pads! ROFL
europarts pads..exceed the merc ones..34.99 for an e320..sensors from mercs ..about 1.80 each
worse ways take your car to the local kwikfit type gaff..give em the pads and sensors and you prob looking at 25 quid to fit the pair!!!
dont think merc will do a better job..cos these days they wont :roll:
