Help! My boot lid opens on its own!!!!!!

I recently obtained a Mercedes w202 180 sport 1997, i have been doing a few repairs and paint work and trying to sort out one or two problems.
The problem i have is this, when i close the boot (trunk) with the car doors closed it stays shut, not a problem. However when i close the boot with one of the doors open and then close the door, at the exact time the front interior light goes off the boot (trunk) lid fully opens on its own!!!

I have tried all the doors on the car and the same thing keeps happening, if i set the dead lock on the boot it stops the lid opening but this means using the key all the time.

The other fault is that the rear interior light will not switch off. sat in the car i operate the rear interior light switch (with the boot closed) the light starts to dim, goes out, boot lid fully opens and light comes back on. I have taken the bulb out of the rear interior light and operated the light switch which causes the boot lid to open again.

If anyone has experianced this problem or can come up with some ideas i would be very greatful.

I think that the vacuum pipes were fitted the wrong way around

had similar problem on a 208, every time ign was switched on boot would open, had to replace vacuum pump
