Help needed from a Fone guru

Hi all, can I ask for some help on yet another telephone question ?

I have been trying to get the prewired kit in my 05 E320 W211 to work. Well I thought it was prewired, now I dont know.

It has the connector in the centre arm rest, to which I have connected a SAPv2, nothing shows up.

I have explored a little further and found that the centre connection has 2 curly leads the connections of which just end in the centre storage compartment, (See pics).

Can anyone tell me what and where these should be connected to. I guess it should be to a telephone control module, (have been watching a few on Ebay), but where should this be located. I have looked at a few of the manuals available online and just confused myself

can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Davy,

It looks as if there has been another item wired via these connections. One of the larger coils will connect to cradle in the upper part of the arm rest depending on which pre wiring you have. Look at http://www.comandonline.co.uk for info and advice

I would think them leads should connect to the UHI phone controller (not sure where it would found be in your car). Have you looked under the carpet the leads currently rest on? You have the UHI exchangeable cradle connector so your car did come with phone pre-wire. Maybe the controller went faulty and was removed?
