Help Needed: Rear Passenger Door Quarterlight.

I need to replace the Rear QL on my 95 C180.

Does anybody know how?


The story goes like this.

I had trouble with my door key and to cut a long story short I needed to order a new one from Merc.

So, the car has been stuck outside my house for 8 days as I couldn't get in i using the key (the mechanism on the passeger front must have worked loose).

So, after Merc M/cr had relieved me of £141.00 they then said I need to program the key using the ingnition barrel... AHEM " I CAN'T GET IN THE ***** CAR!!"

So, the only way I can do it is to break the rear Q/L.


Help please.

A cheaper option might be to smash the windscreen. Easier to replace....? ? ? ?

i know what you're saying.

That would be £75, Quarter light by Autowindscreens £80 or supply only by MB £14.60.

Been and picked up the cheaper alternative.

Just need to know if anyone knows of a quick and preff' easy way to put the new one in.
