Help needed with stereo issue

Couldn't post this in the relevant section for some reason..

I've dropped a clanger and I'm looking for some guidance.
Anyone who has ever removed the comand unit will get this, only someone who has dropped the same clanger i have will possibly have a solution.
When you undo the 2 torn screws that hold the unit in, they loosen the 2 clamps that hold the stereo in situ.
If you undo the screws too far, the brackets detach and can drop down.
One of mine has.
I have recovered the bracket bit for the life of me, I can't get it back into place to reattach the screw and refit my stereo.
Anyone have the answer?

Managed to sort it. Fed a piece of wire through and tied it to the bracket to pull back through.

Had to pull a large section of dash out.
