hi, i'm new here, but i was hoping i could get some expert advice on my grandpa's car. he has a 450 4.5l and had it for years and it is in good condition, engine running perfectly with 100,000 miles on the clock. all in working order with current MOT. does anyone know where we should go next with the car? it currently runs on leaded (is the cost of conversion worth it?) and does anybody know a rough value of it?
any help you could give would be greatly appreciated as he is going to live abroad shortly.

thank you, my new mercedes friends! :-D

Have a look at a copy of Mercedes Enthusiast, there are a lot of very good classic Merc specialists advertising there who specialise in these gorgeous older Mercs. Some of them restrict themselves to one or two models and seem to know everything there is to know about them. I worked for a guy who had one of those 450SEL models and it was a fantastic motor at the time. I hope you are intending to keep it!!
