Hey all,
I've recently had issues with my EGR and just want to rid myself of it on my 2008 Bluetek, OM642. I put a 4.7k ohm resistor as I've read on the threads here but still getting some codes like 2355-001 (EGR air flow), 2690-006 (exhaust gas pressure hi B60), and 3006-001 (exhaust back pressure downstream of DPF) but she hasn't gone into limp mode yet.
My question -
1) Do I need to physically remove the EGR and put a blocking place on it?
2) Can I just leave it in disconnected?
3) Devise a way to make it stay open while leaving it installed?
Thanks guys!!!
