If you search the forum for "SEC idling" you will find a threat that has a lot of information regarding this.

Ussually it is the idling computer or the idling valve.

Have a look and please let us know what you find.

check out all the obvious causes first,

Electronic idle control unit is usually mounted behind the glove box W107
model.

Idle valve and control unit usually fail together. (faulty air slide takes the control unit out).

The system will need correct testing and diagnosis to be sure.

once you hace located it the unit can easly be tested 1st test is when the ignition is turned on and off without starting the car the valve can be heard with a click eack time the keay is turned on, 2nd test disconnect valve multi plug and use a volt meter see if battery power is given between terminals 2 and 4 if no power check wireing between terminal 2 and fuse 14 ( terminal 15 ) alternativly check wireing from terminal 4 to earth for continuity, if voltage does exsist opperate the idle valve bridge terminals 2/4 and 4/5 for a max of 5 seconds. the rotory idle valve should work now you should hear an audible sound when ignition turned on this means the control unit is duff replace it, if the vals doent work check wireing between valve and control unit
