HELP please!! fabric for SL500 1989

Hi, can anyone please help me, I have been searching for some check fabric to reupholster interior of my baby, I have come to realise that I will have to recover the entire fabric of the car as I just cannot find a match to enable me to just recover the driver seat alone. Any suggestions, I live in the Ipswich, Suffolk area.

Try KHM in Germany.

I'm not sure if they do fabric interiors, they certainly do leather, but they do respond to e-mail enquiries.

I bought a new soft-top, supplied and fitted, from them last Spring and it's indistiguishable from the genuine MB article. Cost 1830 euros plus a very pleasnt touring holiday in Germany and NE France. Nice people to deal with.
